Premier League: Live Broadcast in October

Premier League matches are going to be available on TV in October, with some exceptions. Let’s start with the bad news first. Not all matches are available. In fact, the general public will not see half of the fixtures.

Sky Sports and BT Sport are going to broadcast 5 matches every weekend, totaling 15. Naturally, fans are furious and it is easy to see why. While spectators are not allowed to visit the stadium, they should be able to enjoy their favorite matches at home.

The world of football has taken a punch by the coronavirus and the subsequent safety measures. Unfortunately, the situation is getting worse. Half of the matches are not going to be on TV. In the future, there may be even more restrictions.

However, there is a small silver lining. The matches that are not available for broadcast can still be accessed for a fee. Sky Sports Box Office and BT Sports Box Office offer this service for around £15 at the time of writing. This is a small comfort, but not a sustainable solution.
