West Brom 0-3 Hull CityHull City notched up their fourth win in a row by beating West Brom 3-0 in their Premier League encounter and move joint top of the league table with Chelsea. The Tigers secured their second straight win over fellow promoted side West Brom by scoring three goals in space of 15 second half minutes as Kamil Zayatte, Marlon King and Geovanni hit the back of the net. It was a fortunate result for Phil Brown's side who were second best throughout the match with West Brom doing well enough at least to earn a point from the tie. Keen to avenge their defeat to the Tigers from last season, West Brom manager Tony Mowbray put out an attacking 4-4-2 formation with the Baggies dominating the early stages of the game. West Brom went the closest to breaking the deadlock early in the game as Jonas Olsson saw his header smash against the cross bar while Roman Bednar had a great chance off the rebound. The visitors settled down to create chances of their own with Zayatte going close with a header. Daniel Cousin almost put Hull in the lead when his deflected shot wrong footed Scott Carson but the former Liverpool keeper recovered brilliantly to parry the effort. The game exploded into life two minutes into the second half when Zayatte made amends for his earlier miss by giving Hull the lead by volleying home from a corner. West Brom tried to stage a come back but the match was all but over in the 62nd minute when King played in Geovanni who continued his good form in front of the goal by doubling the lead with a volleyed shot. King turned goal scorer four minutes later when he latched on to a poor header from the West Brom defense before slotting home past Boaz Myhill to score his side's third goal of the game.
