Tottenham Hotspur put up yet another brave performance and were unlucky to only manage a 1-1 draw against Manchester United in their Premiership clash on Saturday.

Both the teams created good chances in the first half but it was Spurs who took the lead through Dimitar Berbatov in the 21st minute. With time running out, Tottenham sat back, putting up a brilliant defensive display but United finally equalized in the final minute of the match through Carlos Tevez to collect a point.

Tottenham dominated the possession early in the game as the United struggled to have any impact on the match. Owen Hargreaves blocked Berbatov's cross from reaching its target as the visitors had to defend deep to avoid going behind.

However Spurs managed to break the deadlock in the 21st minute albeit in a controversial fashion. Jermaine Jenas raced forward on the right flank before being blocked by Hargreaves. Jenas looked to have handled the ball into the path of Lennon as he fell down and the 20-year old crossed the ball inside the area. Edwin Van der Sar got a hand to the ball but his parry went straight to Berbatov who made no mistake from six yards out.

Manchester United pressed forward in the second half but it was Spurs who created the next chance with a driving run from Berbatov releasing Keane but the striker only managed to hit his shot straight to Van der Sar. United continued their search for an equalizer and Spurs were happy to sit back and soak up the pressure.

With seconds remaining before the final whistle, it looked as if Spurs have notched up another upset but Tevez had a different ending in his mind as he directed a corner towards the target and the ball took a deflection off Michael Dawson to give United a point.
