Stoke City 1-1 Hull CityHull City continued their steady revival in form by collecting a vital point against fellow promoted club Stoke City in their 1-1 draw on Saturday. In a game of few chances, Stoke went the closest to breaking the deadlock late in the first half when Ricardo Fuller latched on to a defensive mistake but managed to miss the target from six yards out. The visitors finally took the lead on stroke of half time when Sam Rickett curled in a free kick and the ball fell to Marlon King and the striker made no mistake from close range. With fog limiting the vision, Stoke were struggling to create any real chances though they dominated the possession in the second half. Rory Delap was once again proving to be dangerous with his throw-ins and Stoke almost pulled level midway through the second half when Fuller met one of the long throws with his head but Boaz Myhill pulled off a brilliant save to deny the striker. Minutes later Myhill was adjudged to have had fouled Fuller inside the area and the 29-year old made no mistake from the penalty spot to snatch a point for his side.
