Manchester City 3-0 StokeRobinho slammed home his first hat trick for Manchester City as the Eastlands club secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over struggling Stoke City in their Premier League clash on Sunday. Robinho has been steadily proving to be the key man for Mark Hughes' side up front and the Brazilian super star struck rich form at the City of Manchester Stadium on Sunday as he first put City in the lead with a thumping finish in the 14th minute. Robinho doubled the lead two minutes into the second half before rounding up with a cool finish in the 72nd minute to complete his hat trick. City went into the game after having failed to register a win in their last three matches were quickly off the blocks as Robinho showed a glimpse of things to come when his shot was brilliantly parried away by Sorensen. It was not long before the former Real Madrid striker hit the back of the net when Ched Evans found Robinho unmarked inside the penalty area and passed the ball for the striker to slot home from 10 yards out. Stoke held on to the score line until the half time whistle but the game was all but over two minutes into the second half when Sturridge took on the Stoke defense to create some space for Robinho who was left with a simple finish from close range. Robinho should have had scored a couple more midway through the second half but was denied by some great saves by Sorensen. However the Stoke keeper was helpless in the 72nd minute as Robinho completed his first hat trick for City with Sturridge once again the creator.
