Hull City 1-3 ArsenalArsenal registered their third straight league victory with a hard fought 3-1 win over Hull City on Saturday. Having beaten Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium early this season, Hull made a confident start to the game with Geovanni going close to putting Hull in the lead in the 2nd minute. Arsenal settled down to dominate the possession though their first real chance came in the 30th minute when Robin Van Persie's curling free kick was tipped on to the bar by Boaz Myhill. However the visitors took the lead seconds later as Adebayor rose high to meet Van Persie's corner to put his side in front. Emmanuel Eboue had a great chance to double the lead but managed to miss the target from close range. Hull had a penalty appeal harshly dismissed after it looked as if Djourou fouled on loan striker Manucho inside the area but referee Alan Wiley showed no interest. The hosts finally equalized in the 65th minute when Bernard Mendy curled in the ball for Cousin who made no mistake in converting his chance. Just when it looked as if Hull would claim a vital point against Arsenal, the visitors struck back to take the lead eight minutes from the final whistle as Nasri latched on to Van Persie's pass before slotting it past Myhill. It was all over four minutes later when Bendtner scored his second goal in as many games with Van Persie once again the creator.
