Derby County 2-2 Fulham

Derby County became the first team in the Premiership history to be relegated in March after they only managed a 2-2 draw against Fulham last weekend.

Emanuel Villa had given Derby an early lead in the 10th minute but Diomansy Kamara equalized for Fulham in the 24th minute before and own goal by Dean Leacock put Fulham on course for their first away win in three years but Villa scored his second of the game to snatch a point for his side.

Derby desperately needed a win to stave off relegation for at least another week and received a big boost in the 10th minute when Leacock's speculative free kick took a deflection off Villa and past Kasey Keller into the net.

David Jones went close to doubling the lead in the 23rd minute but Keller was alert to the danger. Fulham pulled level a minute later when Kamara was the first to meet Davies' cross from the right and slotted home from close range.

Jimmy Bullard wasted two good chances from free kicks though he went the closest to putting Fulham in the lead when his shot clipped the post. Derby looked set for yet another defeat when Bouazza took a big deflection off Leacock before going into the net.

However the hosts were back on level terms two minutes later when Villa headed home Mile Sterjovski's cross but it was not enough as Derby were relegated from the Premiership.
