Cameroon 3-2 ZambiaGeremi 68 Mulenga 8 Eto’o 72 Katongo (pen) 82 Idrissou 86 Cameroon flirted with African Nations Cup exit before Mohammadu Idrissou’s 86th minute header saw them squeak past plucky Zambia. Jacob Mulenga gave the Chipolopolo an 8th minute lead after keeper Carlos Kameni had saved Rigobert Song’s poor defensive header. Cameroon’s equalised when Zambian keeper Kennedy Mweene ridiculously fumbled Geremi’s aimless cross into the net on 68 minutes. Samuel Eto’o put Cameroon ahead with a right-foot shot four minutes later. Christopher Katongo’s coolly-taken 82nd minute penalty, after a silly Kameni foul, made it 2-2, before Idrissou’s towering header from another Geremi cross sealed victory.
