Angola 0-1 GhanaGyan 16 Tournament hosts Angola fell to tantalising defeat against a young Ghana side, thanks to Asamoah Gyan’s well-taken early goal. Gyan latched onto Kwadwo Asamoah’s excellent through-ball and shot low past keeper Carlos Fernandes’ right-hand on 16 minutes to propel them into the semis of the African Nations Cup. Angola had their chances to equalise. But Manucho spurned three of the best, seeing a first-half header saved by Ghana keeper Richard Kingson and missing the target with a right-foot shot and another close-range header. Captain Kali came closer still in stoppage time but Isaac Vorsah cleared the ball off the line.
