Everton drew 1-1 with Bolton on Monday but the tight game did not pass without drama. Everton's 18 year old James Vaughan was stretchered off the pitch before being rushed to hospital. Vaughan severed an artery in his leg after a challenge from Bolton's Meite.

Bolton and Everton stay at 5th and 6th in the English Premier League.
