Young Gun Set For Baggies Loan Spell

West Brom manager Tony Mowbray will finalise a move to bring exciting Arsenal forward Jay Simpson to the Hawthorns when the transfer window reopens in January.

The 20 year old scored two goals for Arsenal in the Carling Cup earlier this season and now it would seem that manager Arsene Wenger is happy to allow the player to gain Premier League experience away from the Emirates Stadium.

Simpson said “I want to be playing as well so it is a good chance to go out and get some games…I am just going to go there and try my hardest and try to score as many goals as I can”.

West Brom have struggled for goals this season and currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table. The club recently lost Ishmael Miller for the season to injury and so Simpson’s arrival is sure to boost Mowbray’s options in attack for the remainder of the campaign.
