20 year-old Belgian midfield player Geoffrey Mujangi Bia has signed for Wolves for the rest of the season in a loan deal from RSC Charleroi. Wolves have also negotiated an option for a permanent deal in the summer.

Mujangi has already trained with the squad after passing a medical but will await international clearance before making his debut. Manager Mick McCarthy said that he was delighted to have brought the player to Molineux saying that he would add “some creativity and firepower” to his squad. He added “He’s an attacking midfielder who can play on the right or the left as well as centrally.”

The player is rated as one of the best prospects in Belgium and is happy to be in the Premier League. “I’ve played in England once before with Belgium under-21s and it’s been my dream to play in the Premier League.”

One player not likely to be heading to Wolves is Stoke City striker James Beattie. Both clubs have denied any discussions have taken place around the future of the 31 year-old striker. Mick McCarthy said "There have been no discussions at all about James Beattie. There have been no discussions with Beattie and none between Wolves and Stoke about him - there have been no discussions and I didn't make an inquiry.”
