Windass Heading For ExitVeteran striker Dean Windass has been told that he can leave Hull City. ![]() The local hero whose goal at Wembley secured the Tigers first ever top flight season has been frustrated at the lack of playing opportunities since the start of the season. The joy of becoming Hull City’s oldest ever goal scorer following the awarding to Windass by the Dubious Goals Panel of the equaliser at Portsmouth in November will have been damped somewhat by the doubt over his future at his home town club. Since his half-time substitution on Boxing Day, Windass has not featured and has claimed that manager Phil Brown has not spoken to him since. Neither the player nor his agent has been given any notification of interest although several lower league clubs are said to be tracking the situation.
