West Ham got an excellent victory over the Toffees with a 1-0 win. An excellent performance with a vital win. Everton’s blow could be crucial in the Europe race and they are desperate to get the position.

The only goal came on 13 minutes when Bobby Zamora unleashed a vicious effort from 25-yards into the top corner. Both sides had further chances however West Ham remained strong and shone through as they secured a deserved win. Man of the Match Nigel Reo-Coker

An Excellent win for West Ham with other teams around them losing points. This win means they are now only 3 points behind Sheff Utd and can see a brave fight to the end. If they keep performing like this Alan Curbishley men can stay up and avoid the drop.

A disappointing result for Everton, and their challenge for Europe faced a significant blow. However they can still get there but need to collect a string of results as the season draws to a close. Also a huge blow was seeing Andy Johnson limp off, but there do have James Beattie who is very capable.
