Walcott Sidelined For Three MonthsArsenal’s disappointing month has continued with the news that winger Theo Walcott is expected to been unavailable for the next three months. Walcott fell awkwardly during an England training session and was taken to hospital and was diagnosed with a dislocated right shoulder. The 19 year old has had a succession of injuries related to his shoulders. Last season he missed four months after requiring surgery on his left shoulder and just at the beginning of the month was injured during at match at Stoke City.
Speaking prior to the weekend match against Manchester City, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said “I haven't seen him…because he came straight back to the surgeon and had surgery today. But he copes quite well…and I'm amazed how he deals with it”.
Walcott has been one of the struggling Arsenal team’s most effective players this season. His hat-trick for England against Croatia in September has projected the 19 year old in to the spotlight and his loss is sure to have a negative impact on Wenger’s team.
