UEFA Cup Quarter-Final DrawHamburg v Manchester City Paris St Germain v Dynamo Kiev Shakhtar Donetsk v Marseille Werder Bremen v Udinese England’s sole remaining representative in the UEFA Cup have drawn a tough path to the final if they are to progress to the Istanbul showcase. Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Martin Jol and his Hamburg side stand in their way and having gotten the better of Aston Villa in the earlier group stage, Mark Hughes will have to pull another rabbit out from his expensive hat if European glory is to remain a realistic goal. If City do get past Hamburg, they will then face the winner of the Werder Bremen and Udinese tie. Clearly, if they reach the final they will undoubtedly deserve to be there. The Italians are also their nations sole representatives and must also fancy their chances after denying last years winners Zenit St Petersburg the chance to retain their trophy. Bremen were one of the clubs who entered the competition following their exit from the Champions League and would also provide strong opposition. Shakhtar Donetsk and Marseille meet up in a tie that throws another two teams that made early exits from the Champions League together. Paris St Germain face Dynamo Kiev to complete the line up of the last 8, none of whom have ever won the competition. The first legs will take place on 9th April with the winners being decided a week later on 16th. The semi-finals will take place on 30th April and 7th May with the final itself being staged at Fenerbahce's Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on 20th May.
