Tugay Wants To Stay At Blackburn

Blackburn midfielder Tugay has admitted that he would love to sign a new 1 year deal with the club.

37 year old Tugay is out of contract in the summer and wants to extend his stay at the club for another year. The skilled midfielder has revealed his aspiration to carry on playing football and hopes that it will be with Blackburn.

Tugay joined Blackburn in 2001 and was snapped up by former manager Graeme Souness for a fee of £1.3 million. He has so far made a total of over 150 appearances for Blackburn.

Tugay admitted that if Mark Hughes offered him a contract he would have no problem in signing it as he loves life at Blackburn.

He revealed his love for the club and the fans and hopes for another year of football at Ewood Park.
