Terry Fit For England

Steve McClaren has had a welcome boost to his preparations for England’s Euro 2008 qualifier against Estonia. Captain John Terry has completed a training session and is likely to be available for the crucial match on Wednesday.

During the recent 1-1 friendly draw with Brazil at the new Wembley stadium Terry was substituted after complaining of a hamstring problem. Joe Cole also picked up a knock during the game but will also be fit to play against Estonia. The game is a must win for England in Group E. They now trail Croatia by 5 points and Israel and Russia by 3 after the weekend results. Estonia are weak opposition but recently gave Croatia a run for their money. The victory is there for the taking but the England side has yet to fire on all cylinders and silence critics.
