Sven Goran Eriksson has expressed a wish to continue his frantic transfer market action. The Manchester City boss is looking for a replacement for Valeri Bojinov who suffered cruciate knee ligament damage in the win over Manchester United. Man City under the tutelage of Sven have burst out of the blocks in the early stages of the season.

In the short term Man City have Rolando Bianchi to fill in but outside of this they only have last season’s quartet who all struggled for goals in the 06-07 outing. Sven has been looking to strengthen his goalkeepers but the new injury blow has focused his attention elsewhere. In addition to lack of depth in his strike force Sven is also looking for a couple more midfielders.
