Chile striker Humberto Suazo is hopeful of a playing in their World Cup opener with Honduras after returning to training following a hamstring problem.

The Real Zaragoza frontman suffered a small tear in a friendly against Israel at the end of May and had been ruled out for up to three weeks.

It’s touch and go whether he’ll make the starting line-up against the Hondurans, but he’s more likely to be on the bench.

Suazo finished as the top scorer in South American qualifying, netting ten goals in 18 games as Chile qualified in impressive fashion.
