Spurs Target Heinze![]() The 30-year old Argentinian is out of contract in 2010 and no talks have yet begun over an extension to that. Heinze left Manchester United on less than good terms after his desired move to rivals Liverpool was blocked. A return to the Premiership may suit him especially if Spurs can pay the wage demands of player who could be available for a little over £4M. Dutch outfit PSV are also reportedly keeping tabs on Heinze but may not be able to compete in the salary department. Another player retaining Redknapp’s interest is Alvaro Negredo whose 16 goals for Almeria accounts for almost half of the teams total for the season. But the real target men in his sights may be closer to home. Blackburn’s Roque Santa Cruz and Aston Villa’s Ashley Young have already proven their worth in the Premiership but it may take more than money for Redknapp to land his two biggest catches. Off-loading Bentley, Bent, Jenas and Pavlyuchenko to pave the way for bids is one option but a cash-plus-player deal may be more likely to succeed.
