Sevilla Rubbish Alves Rumours
President of Sevilla FC Jose Maria Del Nido has rubbished reports that suggest he has agreed a deal that will allow Daniel Alves to join Barcelona. Alves, a striker for Sevilla was linked with a move to Barcelona in a deal that would have seen a cash offer of £25 million and Barcelona striker Giovanni Dos Santos going to Sevilla. Del Nido has revealed that he is getting annoyed with speculation linking his team’s star players to other clubs, in particular the rumours surrounding Daniel Alves’ future. Del Nido said that the offer Barcelona made was ridiculous. He said that Alves is the best right back in the world and we want him to stay at Sevilla for four, possibly more years. Alves is not the only player catching other clubs attentions. Luis Fabiano is a target for Real Madrid while former Sevilla boss and current Tottenham manager Juande Ramos is rumoured to be keeping track of a number of players. Del Nido has made it clear that any deals for players leaving or coming into the club won’t be done until the La Liga season has finished. Del Nido said that at the end of the season we will start to look at which players are leaving and which players we might want to sign. Tags: Sevilla, Barcelona Posted: |
