Serie A Round Up January 2011![]() Massimiliano Allegri’s AC Milan continue to head the pack at the top of the Italian Serie A table as they enter February’s fixture’s. Despite dropping points in a disappointing goal-less home stalemate with Lazio and a 1-1 draw at Genoa, the Rossoneri still held a three point lead over their closest rivals, in terms of points anyway, in Napoli who closed the gap with a 2-0 home win over Cesena. Brazilian Alexandre Pato has put the leaders ahead but an Antonio Floro Flores equaliser gave his team a share of the points. Goals from Cavani and Sosa gave Napoli a vital 3 points whilst Wesley Sneijder, Samuel Eto’o, Thiago Motta and Esteban Cambiasso contributed to Inter’s 5-3 home win at the San Siro over Roma. This saw them retain 3rd place as they desperately pursue their local rivals while Lazio dropped a couple of home points in a 1-1 draw with Chievo. As Udinese also dropped home points and with Roma’s defeat, Palermo made the most of their win over Lecce to move up to fifth. Bari remain rooted to the bottom following a 2-0 loss at Brescia who themselves moved above Ceseca, a point behind Catania whose loss to Bologna leaves them firmly in the trouble zone.
