Seb’s A TrotterBolton Wanderers have finally secured international clearance for loan signing Sebastien Puygrenier. ![]() The 26 year-old French defender put pen to paper last week but was unable to formally complete his transfer from Zenit St Petersburg until today. Puygrenier, who arrives at the Reebok to spend the rest of the season, is expected to go straight into the squad to face Manchester United. Wanderers boss Gary Megson is delighted with his acquisition. "His attitude is fantastic and everybody has been impressed with him," said Megson. Two players who won’t be joining Bolton are Fulham’s Jimmy Bullard and Brazilian Denilson. Bolton had a £5M offer rejected by Fulham for the 29 year-old but have decided not to increase their bid. Denilson, once the most expensive player in the world, had been in training with Bolton but Megson has decided against taking matters further. Despite being impressed with his attitude, Megson said that the 31 year-old was not the type of player that the club was currently searching for.
