Lawrie Sanchez has been sacked from Premiership side Fulham with immediate effect. The club are struggling in 18^th place in the league table. They have failed to win since 3^rd November and have only managed 2 wins in the season to date.

"Losing Premiership status is a proposition that simply can not be contemplated," said a club statement.

The club have announced that coaches Ray Lewington and Billy McKinlay will take charge for the immediate future. Lawrie Sanchez became the 7^th casualty of the season in a managerial capacity. He had only been in the job full time since May after succeeding Chris Coleman.
