Newcastle defender David Rozehnal will move back to the club in the summer when his loan spell at Lazio ends.

Rozehnal moved to Serie A side Lazio in January on loan and was hoping he would benefit from the move. He hoped he would play some first team football but has failed to hold down a regular place in the Lazio defence.

Rozehnal will no doubt be disappointed that he hasn’t played as many games as he had hoped for and now looks set to move back to St James’ Park.

Rozehnal’s agent thinks that a move to Lazio won’t be happening unless a statement from the club says otherwise.

David Rozehnal’s agent, Viktor Kolar has not heard anything from Lazio about whether they want to sign the player or not. He said he has spoken to Newcastle regarding the situation and was waiting for Lazio to make a statement before anything else would happen.
