Relief For Moyes As Cahill In ClearWith his forward line already devastated by injuries, Everton boss David Moyes must have heaved a huge sigh of relief with the positive outcome of Tim Cahill’s x-ray on the right foot he damaged during the Toffees 1-1 draw against Arsenal last week. ![]() The Australian international limped off shortly before the end of Wednesday nights game following a heavy knock to his right foot but the precautionary check showed no break or serious injury. He still has severe bruising and was therefore ranked as doubtful for the visit to Old Trafford but eventually made the trip. Cahill scored on Wednesday and has been doing a sterling job up front after being drafted into the forward line to cover for a host of injuries to the Goodison Park squad. Yakubu, Louis Saha and James Vaughan are all out for differing lengths of time and the loss of the man who has scored four in eight would have increased the pressure on Moyes to bring in another striker before the end of the transfer window.
