Greece’s German coach Otto Rehhagel has warned that his side will be on their way home from the World Cup if they repeat the mistakes of their 2-0 defeat to South Korea last Saturday.

 

He insisted: “We must examine the last match very carefully and then try to improve in a very sober manner and learn our lessons.

Greece are still waiting for their first-ever World Cup finals goal and striker Georgios Samaras said: “We lost due to our own mistakes. We won a lot of corners but we didn’t do our best with them and didn’t take our chances.”
