Cameroon became the first nation to be knocked out of South Africa 2010 after the second defeat of their campaign. Coach Paul Le Guen remained convinced that his tactical choices were correct but admitted he was unhappy about the World Cup losses to Japan and Denmark.

 

“We missed the required coolness in front of goal, but I feel we game everything we could”, he said after the Denmark defeat, “It’s a serious disappointment for both us and the Cameroonian nation as a whole.”

He committed his future to the Indomitable Lions, insisting that he would not resign.
