Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has rubbished suggestions that on loan defender Armand Traore may make a permanent move to Fratton Park.

Troare has been in impressive form since joining the club from Arsenal towards the end of the summer transfer window. The 19 year French player is on a season long loan but it is believed that Arsenal intend to integrate him into their first team upon his return.

Redknapp said “There is no chance of Traore staying here, absolutely no chance…Arsenal would not sell him. Arsene Wenger let him come here to get experience and it's been great for him”.

Traore signed for Arsenal in 2006 from Monaco. He has also represented France at Under 21 level three times.
