Real Madrid’s extensive injury list has grown to yet another new level with Wesley Sneijder, Pepe and Miguel Torres all added to the injury list this week.

Sneijder and Torres were injured during Real Madrid’s recent La Liga fixture against Getafe and were both substituted in the first half. However, the full extent to Pepe’s injury was not recognised until after the game.

The trio join a huge list of injuries at the Santiago Bernabeu, joining key players: Ruud van Nistelrooy, Gonzalo Higuain, Arjen Robben, Mahamadou Diarra, Ruben de la Red, Fabio Cannavaro and Gabriel Heinze who all missed the recent game at Getafe.

All three are likely to miss Real Madrid’s upcoming UEFA Champions League fixture against Zenit St. Petersburg next week, with Pepe and Torres hopeful of a return in the upcoming ‘clasico’ derby in two weeks time.
