Ghana head coach Milovan Rajevac was naturally delighted at his team’s World Cup 1-0 opening match win but his mood was tempered somewhat as it came against his home country Serbia.

 

Rajevac said “Of course for me personally in my job this is a great victory but I’m sorry for the Serbia players.” The single goal victory was courtesy of a penalty given away by Zdravko Kuzmanovic and 10-man Serbia simply could not respond. However, Rajevac hopes that they can still progress “I hope they get six points in their next two matches” he said.
