Despite dropping 2 home points in the 4-4 draw with Arsenal, Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has insisted that his team will pressure title rivals Manchester United to the very end of the season.

 

With Chelsea also slipping up, United’s title challenge looks unstoppable but Benitez vowed to ensure the Anfield club remain poised to take advantage of any failure of United to capitalise on their lead. "We have confidence we can win our games and United will make a mistake so we have to be ready and hopefully we will see a mistake and it will be very close” said Benitez. "It is football and you never know what can happen. If we win and they (United) cannot then again we will be talking about the title race.”

The Spaniard also would not be drawn on speculation linking him with a move for Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez. The United player is on loan until the end of the season and may be tempted to team up with his former West Ham colleague Javier Mascherano. However, Benitez said that it was too early to be drawn on individuals when the focus was still on the domestic title.
