Pirlo return set to boost AC Milan

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he believes AC Milan are set to receive a massive boost with the return of star midfielder Andrea Pirlo this weekend.

Milan play host to Chievo tomorrow in the ‘Serie A’, which you can see live here at the Live Sports Network with live Serie A football.

Carlo Ancelotti told press, “We are improving sensibly, and we will improve further with Pirlo’s return next week. To me he is the best player in the world in his position, and I can’t wait for him to return and give his contribution.”

Meanwhile, striker Marco Borriello has been ruled out for a number of weeks after sustaining an injury whilst training with the club.

Borriello has faced a tough time at the San Siro after a successful season at Genoa last year, which earned him the move to Milan.

Borriello told press, “I'm disappointed I didn't manage to score, as on some occasions I wasn't very precise. Last season sometimes I only needed to slightly touch the ball to score, while this year it's a bit tougher.

“I still face games with the right spirit and then the goals will arrive. But I'm still happy with the great spirit and the high quality with which the team played.
