Borussia Dortmund midfielder Steven Pienaar will join Premier League side Everton after agreeing a three year deal at the club.

Pienaar is on a season long loan at the club after joining in the summer and did enough to impress Everton manager David Moyes, who has rewarded Pienaar with a deal.

South African born Pienaar made it clear earlier in the month that Everton and Borussia Dortmund were struggling to agree terms and the deal might not go through. However, Moyes was always positive that the move would be completed.

Everton have signed Pienaar on a permanent deal and will pay German side Borussia Dortmund £2 million for his services. He will sign a deal at the club until 2011.

So far this season Pienaar has played 35 times for The Toffees and has two goals to his name.
