O'Hara extends Spurs contract by three yearsSpurs midfielder Jamie O'Hara has signed a three year extension to his contract, a move which will see him stay at White Hart Lane till 2011. O'Hara grew by leaps and bounds in the second half of the season under Juande Ramos and this extension is seen as a reward for his efforts.
Dartford born O'Hara was sent on loan for one month to Millwall in August 2007, which the Lions extended by another two months. Prior to Millwall, he had another loan spell at Chesterfield. O'Hara made his league debut for Spurs against Portsmouth in December 2007, and also scored his first Premiership goal against Harry Redknapp's side. He plays for Spurs in central midfield, but can also play as left back or left midfielder.
O'Hara, who has been capped for England at the U-16, U-17 and U-18 levels, also made his U-21 debut in March 2008 against Poland.
