North Korea Make Keeper Howler![]()
North Korea face a monumental task to make an impression at the World Cup, but it just got more difficult after they registered one of their strikers as a goalkeeper. It means that Kim Myong Won can’t be used as an outfield player during the finals in South Africa. FIFA rules state that once the deadline for finalising squad details passed on June 1, no changes are permitted, except when a player drops out injured. The North, making their first World Cup appearance since 1966, face Brazil, Portugal and Ivory Coast in Group G.
