New Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan has admitted that he has probably missed the boat where Jonathan Woodgate is concerned. Despite agreeing a fee for the Boro defender he is expected to move to Tottenham.

The 28 year old spent 19 months at Newcastle in 2003 and 2004 before moving on. He has since featured for Spanish La Liga champions Real Madrid along side Michael Owen. Newcastle had agreed a fee thought to be in the £8 million region for the 28 year old.
