Baggies boss Tony Mowbray is not feeling the heat as the Premiership relegation battle hots up with his team in the bottom of the frying pan.

 

A 2-0 defeat at Goodison Park at the weekend left West Brom rooted to the bottom of the table and with both Middlesbrough and Blackburn winning the job of keeping top flight football at the Hawthorns was made that little bit harder. But Mowbray’s belief in his style of play remains intact. "I enjoy my job. I enjoying coming in and trying to improve the players and I enjoy sitting on the bench watching my team compete in the Premier League week-in, week-out and giving a pretty good account of themselves.“

The team that scored over 100 goals last season has won as many games in the Premier League this season as they have ever done but it will surely be Mowbray’s greatest managerial achievement to date if he manages to pull off an escape this time.
