Mixed News For CoyleIvan Klasnic could be on his way back to the Reebok but Jack Wilshere looks destined to remain at the Emirates for the foreseeable future at least. ![]() Both players made impressions whilst on loan last season. 30-year old Klasnic has had his contract with Nantes cancelled and Owen Coyle has admitted his interest in bringing the striker back to Bolton although there is a bit of work to be done before a deal is confirmed. Coyle said ‘I think the world of him and he loves the football club, he’s popular, but there’s a little bit of water to flow under the bridge before that happens.’ Jack Wilshere, however, appears to be part of Arsene Wenger’s plans at Arsenal and Coyle is realistic about the chances of landing the youngster for a second season on loan. ‘I feel he is a far better player for his six months at Bolton and if he does become available then we’d love to have him.” Forward Kevin Davies has turned down an approach to represent Scotland at international level. “I spoke to someone about it at the end of last season. They wanted to know if I had any Scottish relatives” he said. “As far as I’m concerned I’m English, so I didn’t really take it on.” Tags: Ivan Klasnic, Owen Coyle, Bolton, Kevin Davies Posted: |
