James Milner has been speaking about life at Aston Villa since he moved to the club for a second time in the summer.

 

Initially Milner had struggled to keep a place in the Villa first team ahead of the likes of Ashley Young and Gabriel Agbonlahor but now he has total respect for the way that Manager Martin O’ Neil has managed the club’s players.

The 22 year old midfielder said “The manager's policy is if you play well, you stay in the team…That was frustrating for me when I first arrived, but that's a great policy and the lads all respect that”.

Under O’ Neil, Villa are enjoyed their best league campaign for 16 years. Currently they sit in fifth place and are only a couple of points off a Champions League position.
