Milijas Keen To Impress

Wolves Serbian international Nenad Milijas believes that he is ready for the Premier League and is determined to make an impact following his move from Red Star Belgrade.

Boss Mick McCarthy rested the playmaker for a few games after his form dipped but with assists for both of Jody Craddock’s goals against Stoke City after coming off the bench, Milijas is sure that he has finally adapted to life in the English game.

Nenad said: “I always felt I was ready, but the gaffer decides who plays. I understand that and realise I’m not going to play every game. The Premier League was very hard maybe for me at the beginning. I played the first few games and felt I did well, but after that, my performances dipped a bit and the gaffer took me out of the team. But I’m here for the team and I want to do all I can to help Wolves stay in the Premier League.”

The Serb is setting his sights firmly on the up-coming game against Arsenal and thinks that the Premiership new boys have the potential to cause an upset at home. “I think we can win, we need to win and just because it’s Arsenal next, it’s still one we want to win.”

Milijas’ return to form has been welcomed by his team-mates with Craddock and Karl Henry praising his cameo performance against Stoke.
