AC Milan and Ronaldinho’s agent and brother Roberto De Assis claim that Ronaldinho is close to agreeing terms with the Italian club.

Ronaldinho has been largely disappointing this season for Barcelona and has been struggling with an injury that will keep him out for the remainder of the season.

Both Assis and AC Milan will speak further with Barcelona about Ronaldinho moving to Milan at the end of the season. A fee of around £20-30 million is expected to be offered by Milan for the Brazilian striker.  

Several clubs around the globe had expressed an interest in the forward, including Manchester City and Chelsea, but it looks like the 28 year old is on his way to Milan.

Assis says that Ronaldinho and Milan have all but agreed personal terms. A deal worth around £8 million per year and a contract until 2012 is expected to be offered by AC Milan to the Brazil international.

Although terms have nearly been agreed the deal won’t be finalized until the season ends as the transfer window is shut at the moment.

AC Milan find themselves sat fifth in the Serie A table and could miss out on a Champions League spot. Their forwards have been poor to say the least this season with Ronaldo, Kaka and Gilardino all having problems finding the net regularly.
