Peter Crouch received his marching orders following a lunge on Chelsea’s Jon Mikel Obi in their recent Carling Cup game. Whilst Crouch has accepted his punishment the Liverpool striker is angry at the play acting of foreign stars.

"Foreign players have brought a lot to our game, but that's something you don't want to see. I didn't catch Mikel but he has gone down like he's been shot."

Crouch will now miss 3 games over the holiday period. It will be a big hit to his season. The England international has struggled to maintain a regular place in the starting line up
