Newcastle United and Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins has not set himself any target for goalscoring in the upcoming African Nations Cup. The live African Cup of Nations is set to kickoff in Ghana on January 20^th. The pacy striker does not wish to place any target on himself as he does not yet know how big a part he will play in the Nigeria squad.

"The competition has not started. Right now we are still training and trying to work together as a team and only the coach knows who will play, so I cannot say what will happen or how many goals I will score," the player said.

Martins who used to play for Inter Milan only managed to score 2 goals in the last tournament. However, he has managed to score 13 goals in 19 appearances for his nation to date.
