Manchester United progress to the semi finals of the Champions League dabbling in Italian football after AC Milan secured their place last night. Underdogs AC Milan saw off the challenge from Bayern Munich with a 2-0 away win and 4-2 on aggregate.

Seedorf and Inzaghi bagged a goal a piece in the first half and the score line remained for the remainder of the match. In the first leg AC allowed Munich back into the game twice at the San Siro during their 2-2 draw. This week Milan showed a solid display and capitalised on their chances. While not in the same league as Man Utd thrashing of Roma, AC Milan will prove a more stern test for Sir Alex’s team.
