Aaron Lennon has once again been ruled out of the England squad with injury trouble. Lennon missed out on the June qualifiers and now sadly faces a race against time to be ready for qualifiers against Israel and Russia on September 8^th and 12^th.

Aaron Lennon is still recovering from knee surgery and is not expected to return to training until the end of August. The June operation and recovery is so far progressing well but even so it is expected to take 3 months for a full recovery to be made.

Lennon is not the only headache facing England manager Steve McClaren. David Beckham has been out with injury and will be short of match fitness when it comes to the group games. In addition Ledley King is recovering from knee surgery missing out from the matches to be played at the Wembley stadium.
