29 year old Frank Lampard has 2 years remaining on his current contract with Chelsea. However, it is understood that after much speculation the England midfielder has turned down the offer of a new contract to stay at the club.

The contract snub comes days after it was revealed that the new deal had been revised to make Lampard the top earner at the club eclipsing the £121,000 a week dished out to Shevchenko and Ballack. Lampard who has 2 years remaining has publically stated he is happy to see that time out at the club.

Frank Lampard is currently valued at £15m and has been linked to clubs such as Barcelona and Juventus. He scored a total of 21 times for Chelsea during their 2006-07 campaign.
