Liverpool and Holland forward Dirk Kuyt is looking forward to working with new Anfield boss Roy Hodgson. But before then, there is the small matter of a World Cup semi-final against Uruguay to contend with. And the winger is aware that maintaining squad unity and concentrating on the matter in hand is the only priority.

 

Kuty said “We are all so happy and we know how close we are to getting to the final. We have got a lot of hard work to do. We have got the make sure we stick together and not get too carried away because the semi-final will be the hardest game we play. ”

Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong will miss the match after picking up a suspension although Everton’s Johnny Heitinga is expected to play and will keep a close eye on former Manchester United hit-man Diego Forlan.
