North Korea coach Kim Jong Hun insists his country still have the support of their people despite being thrashed 7-0 by Portugal.

There have been claims and counter-claims about whether coverage of the North’s games have been delayed, heavily edited or not broadcast at all in their own country, but in any event there was little to cheer as the Koreans appeared to give up against the Portuguese in the World Cup.

Kim said: “Back home, I believe that they will look at our next game and they will be rooting for us to play well. Though we will not be able to reach our objectives, we have one game left and we will prepare well for that match.”
